Revell Universal Monsters Creature from the Black Lagoon model kit LONG SOLD OUT

This all-plastic classic Universal Monsters model kit from Revell is now discontinued! It's just like the popular Aurora models of yesteryear, created with exceptional attention to fit, trim, and finish.

This 1/8 scale model just begs for super detailing! The eye-popping example buildup in the photo below shows what can be done with this quality kit.

Retro-styled large kit measures 8 3/8" tall when assembled, 29 total pieces. Paint and cement (not included) are required to complete model.

Description from box lid: As the story goes, this primeval creature lived 150 million years ago, was at least 10 feet tall, and resembled nothing even seen in the most primitive areas of the world a ghastly vision resembling neither fish nor human. A group of explorers first encountered this horrifying Creature from the Black Lagoon of the Amazon River. After a terriflic battle, the Creature returned to the sea to an uncertain fate.

Finely sculptured details, head, hands and feet. Coast line display base with rocks, water, snake and lizard. Molded in light gray. Skill level 3, ages 12+

Collectors Note: Revell did not use collectible-grade cardboard in manufacturing the boxes for their Universal kits, so the shrinkwrap may have lightly bent or creased the boxes.
