The rulers of the planet Zanti could not control the Misfits of their society, so they sent their criminals into exile on Earth.
That's the premise behind "The Zanti Misfits," surely one of the most unforgettable episodes from television's original Sci-fi powerhouse, "The Outer Limits."
Unlike so many monsters seen on the show, the Zantis were not actors in make-up and costume, but insect-like creatures that were actually stop-motion animation models, brought to life on the TV screen one frame at a time.
This is one of those crazy critters, the Zanti Regent, a lifesize, fully articulated figure measuring 8 1/2" long x 6 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" tall. He comes fully painted in authentic Zanti colors, and has sprouts of black hair at his eyebrows and chin. The Regent is also fully poseable at the neck, body sections, antennas, and legs.
Collector's Note: Zanti Regent figure has never been removed. We haven't seen a display box for a Zanti figure in this near-mint condition (C-9+ with glossy sides).
